LVCC Awarded a Matching Grant

Kudos to Debbie Prutsman for writing a grant application to the Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board which resulted in a $25,000 matching grant award. The $50,000 will be put to good use as we sheetrock the interior of the main public rooms at the Lake Vermilion Cultural Center. Additional plumbing and electrical work will also be done.

Debbie Prutsman has been featured in many of our Midsummer shows and will be appearing again this year. She is so taken with the environment up north that she will be starring in two shows for Broadway in the Boundary Waters, the summer theatre season for the Northern Lakes Arts Association in Ely. Thank you so much to the IRRR and Deb for continuing to enhance our mission.
