Midsummer 2016: A French Connection

After 128 years in one location, St. Mary’s Hall (formerly St. Mary’s Episcopal Church) was moved to the historic center of Tower across from the Civic Center. Come help us raise funds to finish the on-site project.

Saturday, June 25th

Educational Speakers in Historic Tower Club Car –

  • 12:30 – Bill Latady, Curator, Bois Forte Museum: “The Bois Forte Fur Trade Experience at Lake Vermilion”
  • 1:30 – Author, William Durbin: “On the Trail of the Voyageurs, the Fur Trade on Lake Vermilion”
  • 3:00 – Jaime Brennan and Molly Olson, instructors from the Ely Folk School: “North Woods Skills, Past and Present”

5:00 p.m. – Social Hour & Live Auction

6:00 p.m. – Chicken Cordon Bleu Dinner w/wine

7:15 p.m. – SHOW: “A French Connection” – A delightfully entertaining program by the Midsummer Singers and fabulous guest soloists.
