Mario Cianflone Master Accordionist

Mario Cianflone, a renowned Accordionist, will be performing a matinee performance at the LVCC on Sunday, September 27, at 2 pm. His performance will focus on Italian music with additional speaking regarding the history of the accordion and some of Mario’s background.

Mario Cianflone, Italian born musician and Master Accordionist, is widely recognized as a leading accordionist and music educator, in the mid-west.  Receiving his doctorate in music education from the University of Minnesota, his performance skills on the accordion reflect years of dedicated studies with the master accordionist, Larry Malmberg, and distinguished composer, Dominic Argento.

In addition to numerous gratis functions, Mario also donates time via his performances to raise funds for worthy causes. His accordion performances have been heard widely in the US, Canada, and Mexico. Admission at the door is $10. Additional freewill donations are gratefully accepted.
