Give to the Max Day 2026

Since 1888, this little church building has been a gathering place. It began as Saint Christopher’s, served the Soudan mining community as Saint Mary’s Episcopal Church for over a century, and in 2015 moved to Main Street in Tower to become the Lake Vermilion Cultural Center.

Today LVCC brings concerts, workshops, and events to all ages across the Iron Range. We hosted 27 events this summer alone, including our popular annual Midsummer celebration. But our historic building still lacks two basics: plumbing and heating. Without them, we’re limited in when we can open our doors and what we can offer.

This Give to the Max Day, we’re raising $5,000 to install plumbing and heating and to add handicap access, so everyone in our community can come inside, stay warm, and take part.

Every gift, big or small, helps keep this 138-year-old building alive for the next generation. Please give today and share this page with friends who love the Lake Vermilion area.

Thank you!
