Presentations and Events for 2020
Our broad spectrum of programs will be augmented by new educational events and presentations in 2020. The LVCC has offered over 40 programs and continues to bring musical programs, art events, and educational speakers to our community.
In the summer of 2020, Ilene Rice will give a presentation: “Education: The Key to Suicide Prevention.” Ilene is a retired Marriage and Family Therapist who was in private practice for many years in Colorado. Ilene is a summer resident of Lake Vermilion.
In July, a group of local artists will present their second “pop-up” benefit art show. The first event “Art on the Lake” was held in 2018. In 2020 the show will be held on the grounds of the LVCC campus on Main Street in Tower.
We also look forward to hosting Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Margaret Chutich for a presentation on the scope of her work. Stay tuned for more details on these events in our spring newsletter or on our website.
